Modern English School is the culmination of the vision, mission and efforts of some like-minded enthusiasts who dreamt of having a school in Chhedanagar to cater to the needs of the children in the neighbourhood. Started in a small garage in 1975, the management erected a small structure in the same year and housed the school on a piece of land granted on a 30-Year lease to the School by Bombay Municipal Corporation.Modern English School is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Education Board Secondary School Examinatios and English is the Medium of instruction

New Model English High School at Chembur was started in 1970 with as many as twelve tinytots from the near by areas in a small garage near chmebur Railway Station.The founder of this blessed educational institution is Prof. D.K.Kunder . As a prof. D.
